Project management for Creative teams

Challenge

Adaptive project management

Bynder is a leader in digital asset management, a platform that enables marketing teams to have a single source of truth for files of any kind (in particular, branding and creative assets). Workstream (the project showcased here) is their task management and workflow tool, which offers creative teams a brief delivery platform, task management, and an approval tool that dramatically shortens the delivery time of brand assets. Since its inception back in 2017, when I joined the Workstream team, I ran a research project that showed us that creative teams work in different ways on projects - for example, you would not need the same tools for a copy writing task vs a web design task - which led to this redesign project showcased here.

Vision-first approach

The project showcased a vision for Workstream - which formed an in-depth roadmap focusing on the significant aspects of the platform: adaptive projects, dynamic tasks, live extensions, multi-stage approvals and more.
